| ------------ | ------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Progress | Number | Drives the wipe from start to finish: at the low end the layer is still fully visible, and at the high end it has been completely wiped away. Keyframe this to play the transition. |
| Block Width | Number | Sets the horizontal size of the block. |
| Block Height | Number | Sets the vertical size of the block. |
| Feather | Number | Softens the edge by blending it gradually into the surrounding image. |

| Columns | Number | Divides the frame into more or fewer columns, so each cell of the card shuffle gets smaller and more numerous. |

| Displacement | Number | Sets how far the shattered fragments are pushed out of place as they break up. |

| Border Softness | Number | Softens each tile edge so the tiles fade rather than snap away. |

| Progress | Number | Drives the wipe from start to finish: at the low end the layer is still fully visible, and at the high end it has been completely wiped away. Keyframe this to play the transition. |
| Axis | Number | Rotates the axis the twist winds around. |
| Twist Unevenness | Number | Makes the twist uneven along its length, so it winds up more tightly in some places than others. |

## Acidic Decay

| Name | Control | Visual or audible result |
| ----------- | ------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Progress | Number | Drives the wipe from start to finish: at the low end the layer is still fully visible, and at the high end it has been completely wiped away. Keyframe this to play the transition. |
| Warp Amount | Number | Sets how much the image is distorted as it dissolves away. |
| Noise Scale | Number | Changes the irregular variation in the acidic decay, from calm and even to visibly scattered. |
| Softness | Number | Softens hard boundaries and creates a more gradual transition. |

| Start Angle | Number | Rotates where the sweep begins around the circle. |
| Blades | Number | Splits the circle into this many equal wedges, each sweeping its own clock hand at the same time, so the wipe closes like blinds bent around the center. |
| Wipe Center | 2D control | Moves the wipe center in the viewer, changing where clock wipe is centered or begins. |
| Wipe | Menu | Chooses which way the hand travels: clockwise, counterclockwise, or opening out from both sides at once. |
| Feather | Number | Softens each wedge edge as a fraction of one wedge, blurring the sweeping boundary. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://animoia.gitbook.io/animoia-docs/effects-reference/transition.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
